Valerie Price-West - building the BA show

Val is working hard to produce a number of large sculptures with evocative surfaces and boats balancing on the edge of abstract forms.


"Within my work I attempt to capture a perception of space, movement and the atmosphere of the sea and its coastline. Through a number of sporting disciplines I take part in and experience a sense of energy and excitement as well as danger. It is from these personnel challenges that I find inspiration for my ideas."
